Lush Lilac Blooms.
This was the key to Matthew and Eugenie's Engagement session. Our plans shifted after the derecho hit Ottawa, the locations for lilac blooms we had in mind were either damaged or surrounded by damage. Eugenie and Matthew adventured to find blooms and I turned to Photography peers to inquire about spaces that were safe and had gorgeous blooms. And low and behold, WE FOUND THEM! At the Ornamental Gardens, they appeared safe and sound and completely unharmed.
It was an absolute DREAM session, Eugenie and Matt frolicked through the gardens, giving me their best twirls, dips, kisses, and poses! We had the most wonderful time catching up, chatting about their 2023 wedding plans, and photographing their love for each other!
